About LeagueChief
LeagueChief was created and developed by Rob Winship TechWorks. Rob is a long-time volunteer in youth baseball. Over the years, Rob has served the Sarnia baseball community in almost every capacity—including coach, manager, diamond scheduler, umpire liaison, and most recently, as an executive board member for two separate baseball organizations.
The inspiration for LeagueChief came directly from the same field. After experiencing firsthand the logistical challenges of running a league season—not just staffing it—Rob saw a clear need for two things:
A single, published schedule for small rec leagues — something that could bridge the gap between a shared spreadsheet and a full-blown, expensive website.
A mobile-first system volunteers actually want to use, from registration fees to final standings.
While born out of a love for baseball, LeagueChief was built from the ground up with a multi-sport mindset. The platform is fully customizable to fit the structure of your league—whether you're running baseball diamonds, hockey rinks, or adult rec volleyball, floor hockey, and basketball courts, the software can adapt to the specific terminology and needs of your organization.
